A masquerader from Roy Pierre’s jouvert band 2012, Harlequins & Pierrots. This band tends to be well-costumed, gets a lot of attention, very ornate, decorative. They almost didn’t make it onto Empire Boulevard this year because the police had stopped bands from turning. The parade lagged on quite late this year, largely because of the heavy rain I suspect, and the usual congestion of bands at the end.
