Over a week ago we spent time with “Señor” Gomez, wire bending master, who was constructing a monkey fancy sailor costume for Mr. Reynold Cooper. Here are some updates on the costume. They explained that before competition the judges come around to inspect the structure to see that you have used appropriate construction techniques – this is part of final scoring. As we looked on it was evident that both Mr. Gomez and Mr. Cooper were quite proud of the costume, which the lovingly inspected and showed off. I expect that they would have finished by today.
