A Jab Jab in Brooklyn, New York on Eastern Parkway for Labor Day carnival. The word jab jab comes from the French diablese. They were originally jab molassie or molasses devils. They used molasses from the plantations they toiled, to dirty their skin and become devils, terrorizing people in the town, demanding money with their tin cans. The roles reversed, they owned the streets, they oppressed the people.
